Good tropo to the South really opened up after 2100z on Saturday, with good signals from EA and western France, then continued through into Sunday with some loud HB9s, and a few strong signals from Germany. DR9A on 70cm was S9+ whichever direction I was pointing. The lift extended up to 10GHz, and to some degree 24GHz, with above average signals. It was nice to get a few new squares in the log: IN63 on 70cm, JN38 on 13cm, JN16 on 3cm. Overall a good weekend with good weather and conditions.

Operation on 432MHz started after the UK 23cm Trophy contest finished at 2200z, with a couple of loud HB9s and some western France stations, then added EA1HRR (IN83), F2CT (IN93), EF1M (IN63) and F6GYH (JN27), Sunday saw QRP station F/DL3IAS (JN17) plus OK2A (JO60), HB9IAB/P (JN36), DJ3AK (JO52), EI3KD (IO51), DL3SFB (JN48), DB5SM (JN59), DK1FS (JN48), HB9GF (JN47)

1.3GHz highlights were DM5D (JO61), DF4IAO (JN48), OK2A (JO60), DK0NA (JO50), DR9A (JN48), DC5GF (JN48), DL1SUZ (JO53), DJ3AK (JO52), F4FMB (IN96), EB1B (IN73), EA2EGM (IN93), F5DUA (IN96), F1FDV (JN05), F5EAN (IN96), EA2AWD (IN93), OL4A (JO60), HB9XC (JN37), HB9IAB/P (JN36), DL0NF (JN59)

2.3GHz activity was a bit low, but nice contacts over 500km were made with DM5D (JO61), F5EAN (IN96), F5SGT/P (IN88), F8KHP/P (JN38), and DL3IAE (JN49).

3.4GHz suffered from low activity, QSOs over 400km were DL4M (JO31), and DL3IAE (JN49).

Conditions on 5.7GHz were quite good, with a nice contact with F4CKV/P in JN16 and a couple of other good ones with F4KJP/P (JN29) and DL3IAE (JN49).

Signals to the south were up on 10GHz, best were F4CKV/P (JN16), DK0PU (JO31), PI4GN (JO33), F4KJP/P (JN29), F6DKW (JN18), DL3IAE (JN49).

24GHz yielded contacts with M1CRO/P and G1DFL/P this year. Maurice F6DKW was S9+++ on 3cm but nil on 24GHz, and nothing was heard from ON/PA0MHE over a good sea path. At least the system was working this year.
